DISCOVER-US is a collaborative project between EU and US research institutions focused on advancing distributed computing and swarm intelligence. The project aims to boost synergies, share knowledge, and create a EU-US collaborative research ecosystem in the fields of distributed computing and swarm intelligence.
Our Scientific Coordinator, Prof. Francesca Palumbo (UNICA), joined the DISCOVER-US team in March 2024. She participated in the joint EU-US Dagstuhl-type vision workshop, with the goal to write a white paper on topics related to the current research challenges behind distributed computing, swarm intelligence, edge AI and the computing continuum.
