Open Science
MYRTUS is aligned with the Open Science principles promoted by the European Commission. Our results are released early and progressively updated during the project lifetime, following the principle “as open as possible, as closed as necessary”.
Publications, public deliverables and datasets are archived in the MYRTUS Zenodo community with a persistent DOI, while open-source software is available in public code repositories. Explore them below.

Featured dataset
The requirements that drive the development of the three MYRTUS pillars: the infrastructure, the MIRTO cognitive engine and the Design and Programming Environment (DPE).
Our FAIR approach
Open outputs are archived in the MYRTUS Zenodo community with a persistent DOI, and authors are identified by their ORCID.
Results are released openly, without any information that could affect the privacy of the people involved.
We use open, widely adopted formats and standards (such as CSV, JSON, ONNX and MLIR) to avoid vendor and platform lock-in.
Every release comes with documentation and a clear licence. Publications follow the Horizon Europe Open Access rules.
Privacy and ethics
Some data collected in the MYRTUS use cases are not shared publicly, to protect the people involved. In the mobility use case, cameras output only metadata or blurred images, with faces and licence plates hidden. In the healthcare use case, signals are recorded anonymously from volunteers who gave their informed consent. All data are managed in compliance with the GDPR.
