In MYRTUS, dissemination efforts are further supported through technology and knowledge transfer activities, including exchanges of PhD students among consortium partners. Juan Encinas, a PhD student at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), completed a three-month predoctoral research stay at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari (UNICA) under the supervision of Professor Francesca Palumbo.

During this period, he worked on the development of a composable monitoring infrastructure for FPGA-based systems, which has resulted in a conference publication. In parallel, he contributed to the implementation of a resource management infrastructure within a cloud-edge continuum environment, enabling hardware acceleration deployment across remote clusters through its integration with Liqo.

These advancements were presented in dedicated seminars attended by both UNICA research staff and master’s students. The organization of these seminars was coordinated by Francesco Ratto, a member of the UNICA research group, who also participated in the infrastructure development process. The goal of these sessions was to disseminate the technological advancements achieved within the MYRTUS project, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.
