MYRTUS recently took part in the webinar “Get to know the research initiatives about the Cognitive Computing Continuum: Intelligence and automation for more efficient data processing”, organised by the HYPER-AI project as part of the activities of the Cognitive Computing Continuum Cluster.
The online event brought together seven Cognitive Computing Continuum Cluster projects funded under Horizon Europe, including MYRTUS, to present their research activities and explore opportunities for collaboration. The session provided an overview of ongoing work aimed at enabling AI-driven automation and efficient data processing across the IoT–Edge–Cloud continuum.
During the webinar, MYRTUS was presented by Francesca Palumbo, Scientific Coordinator of the project. Her presentation introduced the project’s vision and approach to enhancing cyber-physical systems through the integration of edge, fog, and cloud resources within a computing continuum ecosystem.
The event concluded with a panel discussion and Q&A session, highlighting common challenges and opportunities across the cluster, including interoperability, scalability, and intelligent orchestration of distributed computing resources.
